Estancia's desperate bid to annex Gafia was thwarted by Gafia's powerful new ally - Omanga. After months of bloodshed, Estancian troops edged towards breaking the stalemate against battle-weary Omanga-Gafia forces. Titus, however, suddenly inverted the tide of victory with a lethal blow that would later earn him the title of Desert Reaper. Leading a covert expedition, the ruthless general detonated a biochemical weapon that unleashed a giant Graystorm upon the Estancian capital. Faced with irreversible defeat, Estancia's frenzied royals summoned their remaining forces to punch through Baluard and claim the Agurts region as their own. Initially sailing through Baluard's defences and capturing Zamaii, the Estancian invasion ultimately failed when the Agurts city-states rallied at Baluard to repel the Estancian forces. Left with nowhere to go, the Estancia empire crumbled to dust and its royal family scattered into exile. Today, the region is a desolate desert with only sporadic oases towns and tribes of mutated wandering estanicans- Soil Ghosts.
