Oleksandr had always been waiting for a chance to take Viliemov, a gateway city that grew rich from extorting Gray Zone refugees fleeing across its border. However, the city's corrupt border control also ignited constant civil unrest. When the conflict reached the breaking point, Oleksandr's informants carefully fanned the flames as massive riots broke out across Viliemov. The moment Viliemov's army marched down the streets to quell the riots, Oleksandr readily invaded the city-state in the name of liberation. Oleksandr flung open its border gates and absorbed the bulk of refugees fleeing the chaos, while slaying Viliemov's warlords and hoisting the Omanga flag upon Viliemov Palace.... Ironically, in the years that followed, Viliemov's border controls became far more draconian under Omangan rule.
